New Features and Fixes in April 2011

We continue to work hard each to make Studio Helper even more useful for our customers. This month, we have added several new features, and fixed many bugs that have been reported. We hope you enjoy these new changes. Please let us know if you have any feedback for how we can make Studio Helper even better for you.

New Features

• The Invoice List now shows the date the invoice was last e-mailed, and this field is also searchable.
• You can now store the birthday for all users, including teachers and staff.
• Added the %%TeacherName%% variable in the Event Reminder e-mail template. Also fixed the %%EventAttendance%% variable.
• An e-mail notice is now sent to both the teacher and the admin when a student registers for an event.
• Added currency option for Singapore Dollar (SGD)

New Bug Fixes

• Fixed issues with exporting lesson charges, payments, and invoices for Quickbooks. Also fixed an import bug with Quickbooks 2011.
• The Recurring Invoice List is now showing in alphabetical order by student.
• All recurring invoice schedules now show on the Recurring Invoice List, even if the original associated invoice has been deleted. Please check your Recurring Invoice List to make sure no duplicates are being generated.
• Changed the word “Instruments” to “Classes” to be more generic.
• Fixed a minor typo on the Remote Access page, where it gives instructions to integrate Studio Helper with your existing website.
• When sending an event reminder now, and “send to me” is checked, the reminder is now properly sent to “you”.
• Fixed an error message that appeared when saving a reminder
• Some students were not able to see events open for registration when they logged in. This is now fixed.
• The “Today” link on the top of the calendar has not been working recently. This is now fixed.
• When deleting one class instance from enrollment form, it was deleting the enrollment form completely. This is now fixed.
• When creating an enrollment form, the teacher was not showing for the events on the calendar. This is now fixed.
• Removed confusing info when registering for an event as a student.
• Tasks were sometimes not getting marked as completed when completed by a teacher. This is now fixed.
