Update: Yahoo Changes Affecting Email Notifications and Invoicing
Comments
We appreciate your continued use of Studio Helper services, and want to assure you that your satisfaction is our highest priority. Recently, Yahoo.com implemented a policy change on their email servers that immediately affects not only all Yahoo email users, but also third party email servers such as Studio Helper.
Yahoo has changed a single setting on their email servers that prevents SH and similar list servers from sending an email message that says it is from a Yahoo email address, unless the message is sent using Yahoo’s own email servers. What this means to you is that, when SH sends out emails, such as invoices or lesson reminders, these messages are being rejected if the teacher or admin is using a Yahoo email address.
We encourage you to use another email service provider instead of Yahoo throughout SH in order for your email reminders and invoices go out accordingly.
Since this is a new policy from Yahoo, we do not have a fix for this at this time. You can always set up a free gmail account as there are no problems using google. Other options include hotmail or livemail.
